WONDER CEILING

Nowadays the interior design industry has experienced a tremendous breakthrough in terms of technology, materials and aesthetics evolution. Your VIP Partner found out about a technique which can transform your living-room, or bedroom in a wonderful and very unusual place where you would feel in heaven.

A Barrisol ceiling is a non-flammable sheet in PVC which is tightened under the effect of heat on the periphery of the walls thanks to a specific patented track system. Thanks to large Barrisol tracks line used for fixing, all types of realization are possible, including the 3D forms and organic shapes. The peculiarity of their sheets is that, apart from being simple and fast to install, without requiring any displacement of furniture, in case of deformation, say, due to the damage provoked by, for example, excess of water on the ceiling, the sheet returns to its initial shape. The matter is that the sheets are made of material consisting of molecules which, after deformation, return to their initial form and tension. Barrisol ceilings end the need for painting them, because they require reduced maintenance, and guarantee a perfect result, for at least ten years.

The first stretch ceiling was manufactured in 1969 by Normalu. The Barrisol brand was created in 1975. Today the entire collection of Barrisol, the world leader of stretched ceiling, comprises over 20 unique stretch ceilings systems. The Barrisol network contains 1200 partners in more than 145 countries in all continents. Among the exceptional projects of Barrisol are the National Museum of China, Airport of Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle, France, Khazret Sultan Mosque, Kazakhstan, Aquarium of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Cirque du Soleil, Macau, the Pyramid in the court of the Conde Duque of Madrid, Spain, and many others.

Products

Barrisol offers more than 230 colours and 15 finishes. One can choose any texture, finish, printed image, translucent element to provide almost any look for the design. Their ceilings adapt to any surface, each form, each situation, each place. Any kind of form can be reproduced: horizontals, rounds, inclined, in 3D. Moreover, they are integrated into architecture, answer the wishes of well-being that we expect from materials of high technicality. Any moment the sheet can be unhooked off the ceiling in few minutes. It permits installation of new lights, units and technical ducts. The installation itself is a dry and clean process.

A Barrisol ceiling creates a layer of air, forming an insulating cushion and preventing the formation of spectrums of condensation on the Barrisol fabric. It decreases the heat losses and volumes to be heated.

Environment Concerns

More than 1 million square meters of stretch ceilings are installed throughout the world each year. This fact makes the brand assume as one of the main priorities its environmental responsibilities.

The company daily conducts a number of actions to preserve the environment directed to air pollution reduction, water recycling, packaging recycling. Barrisol is a member of the US, Canadian and English councils for the green buildings. Their manufacturing process does not require the use of water.

Barrisol sheets are 100% recyclable. After use, they can be recycled into new sheets or other products of Barrisol Normalu. The company takes back old Barisоl sheet for recycling. Since the beginning of this practice, several hundreds of old ceilings were taken back.

Barrisol's stretch ceilings are lighter than other types of ceilings – 1000 m2 of barrisol represent around 180 kg of material for a volume of 0,10 m3. It contributes to less resources consumption for transportation.
