The L Line includes workbench or soil models recommended for aqueous products, largely used in academic laboratories. The L 101 is a workbench freeze-dryer with capacity of up to 3.0 Kg of ice/24 hours and total capacity of 5.0 Kg, and it is currently the absolute leader of this category in the national market.
The K Line lists Workbench or soil models, specific for the areas of biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology. The K 105 is a soil freeze-dryer specific for freeze-drying of products with presence of acids or organic solvents. Ideal for laboratories of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
In the LP Line you will find Pilot models for production in trays, largely used for food, veterinarian products.

What is Freeze-drying?
The freeze-drying is the noblest process known for conservation of biological products, because it implies the two most reliable methods of conservation, freezing and dehydration.
Without conservative or chemical products it's the most suitable process for preserving cells, enzymes, vaccines, virus, yeast, serum, blood derivates, alga, as well as fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and general food.
It is largely used around the world in the pharmaceutical and food industry, as well as for the preservation of flowers, documents and old books, etc.
In order to be dry frozen, the product must be cooled at a very low temperature, generally under -30ºC and then submitted to negative pressures (vacuum), which makes the products' water be removed by sublimation, that is, the direct passage from the solid to the gaseous state. The final result is a product with a moisture-free porous structure, able to be recovered through the simple addition of water.
Therefore, the dry frozen products don't undergo changes in the size, texture, color, flavor, scent, vitamin content, mineral salts, proteins and other components which, when correctly preserved, even under room temperature, can resist for many years.
The frozen products are very due to low water presence, which facilitates its transport. Being largely used in the pharmaceutical means and researches, the freeze-drying has progressively gained room in the food industry and other segments.
