The traditional wallet made from leather or plastic, can look very useful because everything fits inside. The main issue is it fits more than you need. It is a bit like the ladies' handbags, where fits many useless things as well as indescribables.

The traditional wallet, "stuffed" with useless paperwork, or destined to be archived is, also, a health issue. Many men use this wallet in the back pocket of their trousers which is uncomfortable and, as the years go by, can even cause painful and irreversible scoliosis.

The french manufacturer of aluminium wallets, sorts this and other problems out with style and safety. Ögon was founded in Paris, France, in 2004 and offers a vibrating piece, in various colours, for daily use, full comfort, and does not allow pilling useless things, and even supplies, in certain of its models, additional safety which you will hardly find in other wallet manufacturers.

They are produced with one of the most reliable and safe materials of our days: aluminium. This one, provides extra durability and resistance, it isn´t easily deformable, it is fire proof, and water resistant. In addition, it is totally recyclable, light and in someway uncomfortable to be used in the trousers back pocket.

More than that, thanks to aluminium usage, even the possibility of having your credit cards demagnetized or cancelled, is out of context and availability, as this material protects them against X ray's equipment, or other communication systems.

Besides, Ögon, is proud not to use any kind of other chemical products which could be either harmful or not recyclable, such as led or nickel.

Other main issue is about the design of the pieces which got to the hands of Eric Barthês. A french creator who has already designed pieces for Bollinger, Sonia Rykiel, Corum or Ruinart. It is owed to him the creation of the famous range of padded aluminium design, coated with coloured leather.

The collection is inspired in the cigarette wallet case, very popular in the years 1960 and 1970, but, in this case, it shows features totally outfitted to the standard documents of our age.

Ögon wallets, also pack a RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) system, which means they are detectable by GPS in case of theft, and allow locking all documentation.
