Nowadays, when we talk about the best there is in the world, there is no chance avoiding Portugal. It is now, the most recognized country in the world for all its wonders, secret, history and gastronomy. It shows off as the best country in the world for… well, just about everything.

As Europe faces Brexit and other social and political disturbances, there is a natural spot where, soon, everybody will want to be placed: Portugal.

Besides the natural richness and beauties, the country has developed and improved the best natural products one can find in the world. It is no wonder that CNN has considered Portugal "the best kept secret of Europe" and that the small Atlantic country is considered the best country for travelling, tourism, living and even security, in Europe.

There is a huge wave riding in Portugal and it is not the Nazareth Canon Wave we are talking.

In order to fulfill the need of exporting the medium and small producers of the Portuguese quality products worldwide, Competir Internacional was born. The company was founded in 2012, in Lisbon, with this precise objective: unite the small and medium Portuguese manufacturers along with international buyers of high quality products.

Since then, Competir has travelled the world, showing off the best of Portuguese production. And the results, show off by themselves.

Nowadays, the Portuguese wines are between the best of the world; olives and olive derivatives are in the same group and consideration; and even the French and Italian cheeses are no match for the Portuguese.

Competir Internacional knows its own market and the vast knowledge acquired throughout the years place the company on the best stage for exporting what "everybody wants even if they don't know it".

Along the five years of existence, the company has lead several actions and activities, with the main objective of disclosing Portuguese products in fairs and international events worldwide.

Competir Internacional is the sales representative for many of the red, white, green, rose, muscat and sparkling wines from the very best Portuguese producers and suppliers, from all around the small, but huge country.

In addition, Competir gathers also many of the producers over olive oil and olives derivatives; some of the best goat, cow and sheep natural cheeses; the best smoked charcuterie in the world; honey produced from natural bee breeding; chocolate (yes, Portuguese know more about chocolate and cacao than some of the producing countries); coffee (nobody beats the Portuguese in this one); rice (of many kinds, they all fit in Portuguese weather and conditions); and all sorts of vegetables and fruits. Even tropical fruits and northern fruits: all of them can be breed and produced in Portugal.

Recently, the company was represented at the 3rd edition of the World Food fair, this time in Warsaw, Poland, where it was negotiated the export of several brands and products to this market which show huge growth.

Very soon, Competir Internacional will be showing and negotiating Portuguese natural production items in London, England, at LondExpo, between the 18th and 19th of July; and at World Food Moscow, in Moscow, Russia, between the 11th and 14th of September.

If you already know about the "made in Portugal" brand, you know what we are talking about. If you don't know, you will be very pleased about everything Competir has to show you.
