Talk about orthopedic, comfortable and stylish shoes is about Birkenstock, a German brand. The footwear is cool and fits, perfectly, to any foot, age and need.

Leaving home in winter is harder, but having the right shoes helps. Birkenstock has been affirming itself over the years in the international market and the faithful followers are increasingly, they find in this German brand the footwear suitable for each season of the year. Beyond comfort, there is a clear bet on design. So, with the Birkenstock you can go out on the street with comfort and style, in a relaxed and cool way. Boots, sandals, clogs or shoes, the offer is various, you just need to choose which do you prefer.

Birkenstock success is due to the commitment that it took from an early age, which goes through making orthopedic footwear, respecting the tradition and the knowledge transmitted between generations. This is a real success story in the clothing industry, where short-term trends predominate.

Shoes and training

This activity beginning of this brand dates to 1774 and to the shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock. In 1886, master Konrad Birkenstock, head of two stores in Frankfurt, Germany, began manufacturing and selling flexible insoles, and later lecturing on orthopedic footwear. In 1932, the training courses appeared and involved more than 5000 professionals. In 1942, the book "Podiatry - The Carl Birkenstock System" was launched, that by addressing natural gait and healthy footwear, was a best-selling in the field of podiatry.

The company became, in 2013, a corporation with three business units, namely production, distribution and services. By 2014, Birkenstock has focused on new business segments, markets and target groups, focusing on such relevant topics as healthy living, the sleep, healthy workplaces and, finally, healthy feet. It is in this context that products designed for day-to-day comfort and to the workplace arise as well. There are products for men, women and children.

Birkenstock Bartlett

Urban life and sporty elegance are features that stand out in the "Bartlett Birkenstock". These boots are made of high quality natural leather and handcrafted stitched. Every detail was thought to ensure the greatest comfort and possible functionality. They have a removable base made of cork latex and suede lining. The feet remain dry due to a soft leather lining. The sole is rubber and has cork particles that allow a proper walk for feet and body.

Birkenstock Boston

"Boston clogs" are one of the biggest successes of the brand. This winter, it is possible to go out on the street with them, using the socks also sold by the brand, and thus, guarantee a bold, beautiful and cool style. The "Boston" is considered a classic that, due to the strap on the top, easily adapt to all feet, even the most sensitive, as it provides them with the space required.

Birkenstock Super Birki

The "Super Birki" model is perfect for workplace use. Provides protection and adhesion, is tough and waterproof. Used mainly in kitchens, it can be washed, thus ensuring hygiene.

To the footwear fits perfectly, it is important to wrap around the foot, protecting it and giving it stability. Starting from this principle, Birkenstock has a footbed available in two widths (normal and shorter) and the possibility of adjusting footwear on foot, keeping in mind the needs of children, whose feet are growing. The original insole is made of high quality natural cork, a natural feature that works as thermal insulation. By working with natural products, the brand reflects a concern for sustainability and protection of the environment.

Birkenstock Group is a world producer with more than two centuries of experience in the art of making shoes. It is one of the most well-known German brands in the world, being represented in countries like United States of America, Brazil, Spain or Hong Kong. The clear majority of its products are produced in Germany and sold in around 90 countries.
