Complete ship management

Managing a cruise ship is a complex task. After all, it's a floating city with immense logistic requirements. From food to passengers' accounts, everything needs to be monitored by a reliable centralized system that can be customized according to every company's needs.

<

Fidelio Cruise is the most used software by cruise companies to run their ships' management system. Complete, the software suite can connect all different organizational areas. Hotel, food and beverage, shops, restaurants, galleys, laundry, all interconnected to one system that manages every information. Fidelio manages not only stocks and sales, but also cabin keycards, crew accounts, front and back office operations and more.

Fidelio was created in 1987 in Hamburg, Germany. The idea was to develop a global standard that could be customized to meet the ever-changing needs of an extremely heterogeneous local market and do it in a very short period of time. Fidelio succeeded because it provided its customers with a hitherto unknown freedom in the definition of its customer profiles, their specific rates and unique selling strategies, and individual reporting requirements. No other standard application provided such flexibility in the hotel information market.

The software suite expanded over the years, with Fidelio Opera becoming its second generation. The company and its products were sold to Micros Systems in 1996, which helped to leverage new investments and company growth, thus becoming Micros-Fidelio.

Fidelio Cruise became one of Micros' flagship software, embedded in the company's state of the art Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Presently, Oracle has bought Micros-Fidelio, making Fidelio Cruise a part of Oracle's global business. Fidelio Cruise Software leads the market in design, installation and support of IT systems for effective passenger and crew handling, and optimized inventory control in the cruise ship industry. Fidelio Cruise has developed cutting edge software, heralding a new era in cruise ship operating efficiency since it was established in 1995 in Hamburg, and is majority-owned by MICROS Systems, Inc.

In addition to its headquarters in Hamburg, today the company has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Kuala Lumpur, from which it develops, installs and supports a broad range of IT systems designed to raise operational efficiency and maximize revenue generation.

The Fidelio Cruise philosophy is based on forming and maintaining a close working relationship with clients and their IT personnel so that the performance of both existing systems and the company's own software can be perfectly integrated to operate with maximum efficiency.

Today, Fidelio Cruise's software is in constant operation aboard more than 200 vessels managed by 40 cruise lines. The company's real-time support network is available globally every day of the year.
