Comfort in italian style
In 1959, Pasquale Natuzzi -19 at the time- started producing sofas and armchairs for the local market, alongside three collaborators. Since then, the brand evolved to be one of the largest Italian furniture firms, present in 123 countries and 5 continents.
The firm holds a "Style Center", The Santeramo in Colle, Italy Style Centre, where the whole creative process takes place. A team of 120 creative designers, color specialists and interior decorators generate ideas, and idealize solutions, new trends are analyzed and new projects set in. Of the 6,000 sketches produced every year for sofas, armchairs and related objects, only 120 reach the final verification stages: the development of a hand-built prototype. This process is coordinated by Pasquale Natuzzi himself and the entire manufacturing process takes place in plants exclusively located in Italy and owned by the Group.
Natuzzi Italia is the line of products with a Total Home collection made in Italy. Positioned in the premium segment, its products are distributed directly to consumers (through Natuzzi Italia stores and galleries) and in the free market. A selection of home furnishings, lamps, accessories and living room furniture completes the sofas and armchairs of the Natuzzi Italia collection.
Natuzzi Editions offers a wide range of comfortable leather sofas tailored for the best value for money, offering unique comfort and certified quality. Its products are distributed mainly in the free market.
Natuzzi Revive is the world first "performance recliner", bringing innovation and well-being to the home furniture market.
In addition, the Group manages a private label (unbranded) dedicated to mass market dealers.
The company has a passion for leather. Top-rate hides are selected and worked in the tanning plants owned by the brand in the course of 23 different stages, thus obtaining two categories of leather that enables them to meet the needs of the customers: Natural and Protecta. The precious Natural are worked in compliance with the original characteristics of the hide: all the distinctive features as to grain, veining and color shades can be recognized at sight and touch and are coated by an invisible protective layer, which makes them durable and ideal for a practical and daily use of the sofa.
The fabrics reflect the care for the detail and the constant research. Raw flax, cotton, chenille, tailoring fabrics, all coverings - which are also subjected to quality tests in their laboratories - express authentic quality and suit the most different tastes. Washable and water resistant, the fabrics are available in different colors, from the lightest tints to the brightest shades.
Natuzzi works with materials sought and selected according to strict quality standards. The company created its very own Quality Laboratory where several tests are performed, and the completion and passing of these tests ensures the certification of product performance and resistance over time in every situation and weather condition, as well as endurance, safety and durability. These quality tests are certified ISO 9001. This continuous research for superior quality allows the brand to offer a 10-year warranty on the structure of the products and 2 years on padding, mechanisms and upholstery.
Natuzzi also commits to operating with low environmental impact. Thousands of photovoltaic panels have been installed on rooftops of Natuzzi plants and trading offices, assuring an annual reduction up to 3400 tons of CO2 emissions. This result is a significant contribution of Natuzzi in protecting nature, confirming the company's commitment towards the environment.
The environmental management system of Natuzzi Group was certified ISO 14001 in 2002, and the production process is certified both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (Italy production) and certified E-1, environmentally sensitive furniture manufacturing (Global production).
Today, the brand is a market leader, known throughout the world as "Natuzzi Italia" and "Natuzzi". In Italy and Portugal, it is known as "Divani&Divani by Natuzzi".
