AGRICULTURE 4.0?

Present in various nations of South America and also in the United States of America, this Brazilian multinational founded Totvs Labs in U.S.A. technological Mecca, the notorious Silicon Valley in California.

To get an idea of the popularity of the innovative technologies of Totvs, Brazil is the largest producer of sugar cane, followed by India and, out of the 10 largest Brazilian producers of this agribusiness in particular, nine of them are customers of Totvs.

The Brazilian multinational technology allows both producers and refineries escort remotely and in real time the performance of their machines in crops thanks to the automatic transmission of data to any computer, tablet or modern smartphone.

The robotization and introduction of artificial intelligence in this industry not only reduced costs, but allows any problem in production (depletion of fields, malfunction of a machine, malnutrition of plants, some pest or disease in them) or in the process of refining is immediately detected without the need for human supervision.

Digital technology also manages to assist in the planning and evaluation of existing resources with a view to optimising the harvest, analysing the agronomic aspects of the earth, the existing vegetation and the production capacity of the plant. On the basis of this data it also manages to budget in detail the investment taking into account the financial capacity of the company.

To further optimize production and harvesting, the Totvs algorithm can also select the most appropriate location of the grind, estimate the harvest of seedlings for planting and analyse the plants in order to indicate when they are ripe enough to be able to be harvested and processed.

The software and monitoring of Totvs allow to manage the working hours, the hectares worked and the resources that were spent by the human teams of soil preparation and planting. Also alerts for maintenance needs of the machinery used, monitoring the supply, lubrication and tire wear, among other features.

There is also a technical control that monitors the climate, the implementation of phytosanitary operations, the emergence of pests and which analyses soil samples to generate corrective suggestions if the quality of this does not correspond to the standards required for good production. And these are just some of the characteristics of the basic services of Totvs, which includes a wide range in and out of agribusiness.
